Derived from an Environmental Education lesson, "Plant to Ease" aims to educate communities on how planting and spending time in nature may reduce stress. Plant to Ease was introduced to a group of students and community members who were given the opportunity to use their green skills; and taught how to plant and grow their own flower garden.
There’s a lot of evidence for nature improving mental health. Furthermore, gardening can improve focus and concentration.
