Established in March of 2019, Bringing Me Sunshine (BMS) was designed to combat homeless and poverty in the Maryland and Washington D.C. area. Since then, Bringing Me Sunshine has helped communities along the east coast, by providing resources, support and opportunities to unhoused and underprivileged individuals and families.
Bringing Me Sunshine was founded by a high school student who saw the need of homeless and impoverished outreach in her community. Alongside her mother, they were able to establish Bringing Me Sunshine as a non-profit in Spring of 2019. Within its first year, Bringing Me Sunshine has been successful in helping communities by donating sustainable items and providing resources to the communities. Bringing Me Sunshine is ready to serve our communities in need of support. When we educate others on sustainability and provide economic resources, we can change the world… one community at a time.
